Hi, i compiled a test program that creates two windows, then i closed one o and the other doesn't work well.. when i try to resize, and move it it freezes a bit before doing it, is this a known problem? The freeglut from the cvs is corrupted (the configure isn't created). Nuno Afonso |

That's not an error. The configuration control system is only supposed to include files that are manually generated - if you store one file thats created from another, the whole versioning scheme can go horribly wrong. A *release* of freeglut would contain the configure script. You need to run: aclocal automake --add-missing autoconf ...and then all the necessary files for running the configure script will be present. ---------------------------- Steve Baker ------------------------- HomeEmail: <sjb...@ai...> WorkEmail: <sj...@li...> HomePage : http://www.sjbaker.org Projects : http://plib.sf.net http://tuxaqfh.sf.net http://tuxkart.sf.net http://prettypoly.sf.net |

Methinks this should be a FAQ on the Freeglut.sf.net website? -- James 'Pug' Jones "I threw down my enemy and smote his ruin upon the mountain-side." - Gandalf the White |

Well, *ALL* OpenSource packages that use CVS and the Auto* tools work this way (unless they are incorrectly set up). freeglut is nothing special in that regard. I could probably name a thousand software packages that do this exact same thing. If we start filling a FAQ with all this basic stuff, it would be a VERY large document! ---------------------------- Steve Baker ------------------------- HomeEmail: <sjb...@ai...> WorkEmail: <sj...@li...> HomePage : http://www.sjbaker.org Projects : http://plib.sf.net http://tuxaqfh.sf.net http://tuxkart.sf.net http://prettypoly.sf.net |
