Thomas, =20 The "freeglut" library is licensed the way it is so that some Linux distributions can include it as an integral part of their distribution. Steve Baker is the expert on that subject and can explain it better = than I can. =20 Pardon my ignorance, but what is the difference between full-screen operation and a full-screen-sized window? Also, were you using GLUT or "freeglut"? There's been quite a bit of discussion of "full screen = doesn't work" on the developers' mailing list and at some point I thought we = had gotten it working. Are you using "glutFullScreen", = "glutEnterGameMode", or both? =20 John F. Can you tell me the reason that drove you this way? = I'm not an expert of the question but quite interested in the the things = behind such a decision. Other. Is there any way to produce correct full-screen operation with glut = under X?? So far I've only been able to get X to ceate a full-screen-sized = window and that's not the same. Thanks Thomas |
