I removed several nonstandard #warnings (in case you don't pay attention
to the bug reports or the commits). They were converted provisionally
to XXX comments. (This was briefly discussed a bit ago; there is no
ideal alternative, save to ultimately split the gamemode features into
two parts and deprecate the ill-defined gamemode.)
The #warning was causing compilation errors, one person reported.
#warning is not part of the 1989 ANSI or ISO C standards as far as
