Run the demo with today's tarball and run it with yesterday's tarball. It's pretty obvious--but it may be Windows-specific. Yesterday's demo shows the lines going off the screen and then reappearing within a second. If you zoom out (page-down) you see more and more of the butterfly. With today's demo, the lines go off the screen and don't come back. If you zoom out you see a clipped butterfly until you zoom out far enough.
I've started going through the changes one at a time. The first one that I tried was the #define to make the window handle and context system-independent. Now I get no drawing in the window at all. And my time to work on this is almost up.

I can't see that it is acting unusual. Is it an obvious problem, or something
(Hm. "What's obvious?" (^& I don't see anything wrong with it casually.)
