Hello,

I have upgraded the FreeBSD port of freeglut, an a new
patch is needed (Cf. the attached patch).

Then, I have to pass LDFLAGS="-lusbhid" to configure.

On FreeBSD 5.x, it's enough, but on FreeBSD-4.11 I have
to remove -Werror, because there are warnings due to
"long long"; is it a good idea to keep -Werror for a
release? I'm sure that it might fail on some other
platforms.

Regards,

I have applied your patch to the CVS HEAD, it looks
reasonable. But note that I don't have the platforms at hand to
really test it, so I'd appreciate some feedback here.

The LDFLAGS issue should really be handled by autoconf, this
    is still a ToDo.

Could you attach a compile log showing the "long long"
warnings you've mentioned, please? I'd like to fix this if
possible. Note that you can give configure a --disable-warnings
flag if you don't like -Werror, but I think that *especially* for
release builds all possible checks should be on, that's the
version people work with later, after all...

    Hi,

Attached is a script of a build on a FreeBSD-4.11: the
warning about "long long" is not directly in freeglut, but
    on our old /usr/include/stdlib.h.
