FFS should automatically create destination folder, if it does not exist.

Well, actually it does create the destination folder automatically upon sync, but this should be a bit more intuitive and transparent.

Right now, when clicking "compare" a message pops up that states that the destination folder does not exist. But it only offers "repeat", "ignore" and "cancel" (don't know exact labels of the English version).

There should be an extra "create" button or "ignore" should be renamed to "create", which could be a more helpful/obvious option in this dialog.
The actual dialog is a bit confusing on that, though it actual creates the missing destination folder upon sync when hitting "ignore". But the user does not expect this to happen at this point.

A button named "create" wouldn't be correct, since clicking it does not create the folder. Maybe a "create during sync" would be more clear, albeit too long. OTOH I can't have different button labels for different error messages, so whatever the description of the buttons, it needs to fit for general error messages. In this regard "ignore, retry, cancel" seems already optimal.

Well, at least I did not expect the folders to be created upon "ignore", so I used to create them manually every time i've used a new USB drive to sync to.

I've found that folders get created automatically by accidentally hitting sync before creating them manually.

So if you want to keep "ignore", may be simply adding an separate "create folder" button, which creates the folder instantly, would be clear and give the user a good and "efficient" option for leaving this dialog, other than "do nothing".

The confusion is probably due to confusion on how FFS works: It first compares folders; if one of the folders is not existing, it shows mentioned popup message and asks if this problem should be ignored. The immediate consequence is that the folder will be considered empty. If the user stops at this point and does not start a sync, no folder will be created.
Only when the users hits the synchronize button, not yet existing folders will be created. Currently FFS does this without asking again (since it already complained about missing folders in an earlier message).

    Hmmm.

Then putting this information into the dialog-box also could improve user experience here.

At last its all about giving the user all the information he needs to solve the problem causing the popup to appear without letting him do unnecessary manual work.

Text suggestion (New text in italic.):
"You can ignore this error to consider each folder as empty. The folders then will be created automatically when starting synchronization."

    German Version:
"Dieser Fehler kann ignoriert werden, um die Ordner als leer anzusehen. Die Ordner werden dann beim Synchronisieren automatisch angelegt."

Good idea and good wording. I'll add this to the error message.
