To begin, I just want to explain what I would like to do !
I’m using a MAC on a pure Microsoft Servers environment, due to « security » reason, my IT team doesn’t allow a direct connexion of my machine to the server, I need to start a Windows 7 virtual machine on my MAC and connect to the corporate network with it.
Well, as I’m travelling a lot and doesn’t have a full connectivity, I’m using FreeFileSync to sync my 10 different project folders with my MAC exemple
\server01\Project#1 -> \My_HDD\Project\Project#1
\server02\Project#2 -> \My_HDD\Project\Project#2
\server03\Project#3 -> \My_HDD\Project\Project#3
I discover that with FreeFileSync, you provide RealtimeSync, but I didn’t find to explanation to « monitor » many folders ?
What’s the best practice to :
1 - synchronize all my projects folders ?
2 - automatize the synchronization when servers becomes available NOR when a change occur ?
Thanks in advance
For a start, the help file should give some overview on how to setup RTS. If not, maybe the text can be improved.
