Not a huge thing, but it sounds ludicurous; in Col1 it was always for at least few tens of units of Food.
... And several turns later they come back asking for 3 units of food again. What is this; some kind of magic number...?!
Well, just to make sure: you had more than 6 units of food, right?
Yes, as a matter of fact I had over a 100 units off food.
And I red somewhere that there was lower limit of Food quantity you must have for them to ask you for it - 70-80 units (The same amount that Aztec or Inca give your colony as a welcome gift) Maybe it would make sense to introduce such treshold and another, that they can't ask LESS than half of your storage? (I can't remember them asking less than 30 and it could be quite substantial numbers like 70 or so.
What difficulty level was this game using?
The easiest. And BTW, they keep asking me for like 3, 4 , 5 or 6 units of food.
Reclassifying as Col1-incompatibility.
In git.6ad994f I added a lower bound of 30 to the food demands, as suggested. I will leave this report open though as some real numbers for native demands would still be desirable.
Booted up my old laptop do some un-related testing and did get one request for food. My recollection is that the number is always half of your current quantity and this is reflected in the following screenshots.
There is also (usually and perhaps always) a reward for the food as shown in the second screenshot.

I have noted the half-stored-food result on the WWC1D wiki, but would really like to see a demand to a colony with < 60 food so we can get a definite test for the "never less than 30" assertion.
