At the end of the installation process the installer tries to chmod a nonexisting file and reports an error:
Error executing
/bin/chmod a+x /home/user/freecol/freecol

followed by
The Installation was not completed

After clicking "next" the installation program completes, noting a failed installation. The game itself works perfectly fine, however - starting from /home/user/freecol/freecol.sh without any problems.
