Welcome all new team developer
and we have a new home at linuxmax.net and also soon foxserv.net
Well since I'm a lazy bum there is a whole new team for Foxserv! Look for some great stuff from these guys in the near future.
I can no longer continue to work on the Foxserv Project. Read on to find out how you can pick up where I left off andhelp the PHP-Nuke community.
Well for those of you who don't know Foxserv was/is an Apache/ MySQL/ PHP installer I created back in April. Since then many things have changed in my life and I do not have much time to devote to FoxServ. Suprising my website continues to get hundreds of hits a day even though it hasn't been updated in two months. Also FoxServ seems to be doing even better over at SourceForge with 35,600 downloads to date. I feel that instead of killing the project maybe I could pass it on to someone else.... read more
FoxServ v1.0 is finally out. I feel the program has evolved enough from the original beta to be an offical release. See the notes for what is new.
Please go to http://fox-hunt.net to take a survey on FoxServ. I'm trying to get some user input on what FoxServ should and shouldn't include. Thanks for your time.
Several of you have responded to my request for help and I have no responded. Please know that this is not my choice and I would love your help. The problem is the emails I recieve from sourceforge via the "Contact Info: pim42" do not contain the senders address (there is a field for it but it never shows up on the email I recieve. So if you already tried to contact me or if you would like to please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org . Thanks.
With all the know bugs fixed and 300 plus downloads without any bug reports we are moving into the final stages of the beta releases. This releases is the first release candidate. The only changes are phpMyAdmin is now installed and configured, and the Apache link on the desktop has been fixed. It you already have .2-BETA running and you installed phpMyAdmin yourself there is no need to upgrade to .3-RC1. If there are no bugs reported in the next week, Fox-Hunt will release v1.0 which will have more documentation, hopefully a more useful starting page, and better graphics. See the tasks if you would like to help. Hope you enjoy FoxServ .3-RC1!
Fox-Hunt.net is proud to announce the second beta of FoxServ. This version has fixes a couple of bugs and a web install has finally be release. Please report any new bugs with the bug tracker. If there aren't too many bugs in .2 BETA version 1.0 could be out soon.
Welcome to FoxServ. FoxServ was conceived a week ago when I found the current offering of server packages with PHP lacking. So I created my own, FoxServ! Test out the beta and look for a new version and web install soon. (The web install has already been created just needs to be configured for SourceForge).
