Dear Sir or Madam,

Since my last recent password change, I am unable to do a subversion
commit. It does not accept my password. My user name is andreas-draeger.
I can log-in to the sourceforge website and access all functions of the
web formular, but cannot do a commit to any of my software projects. Can
you please let me know what I can do in order to solve this problem?

Thanks and best regards

      Greetings,

We're still investigating some other reports of svn issues after
password change, but some users have found that these may help:

      1. changing the special characters used in their passwords, or

Yes, thank you! Removing special characters from my password solved the
      problem.

      Best wishes

    Greetings,

We're still investigating some other reports of svn issues after password change, but some users have found that these may help:

    1. changing the special characters used in their passwords, or
    2. setting up SSH keys for authentication instead.

As for determining this exact problem, it would be helpful to know what SVN client you're using, what URLs (particularly including the protocol), and what happens if you try to ssh into the svn host directly.

    eg.,

    $ ssh ctsai@svn.code.sf.net
PTY allocation request failed on channel 0

    Welcome to *.svntest.sourceforge.net

This is a restricted Shell Account
    You cannot execute anything here.

    Connection to svn.code.sf.net closed.
    $

Note, I'm using an ssh key, hence the lack of a password prompt. Also, above is what I would expect to see (you can't do anything once ssh'd in, but it can help determine where the authentication is going wrong). If you don't get a result like that, adding a "-v" to the ssh command will be useful.
