A few days ago I made a new release of my software (CommonMusic 3.9.0) . The download files for Windows, Linux and Source are still available on my Files page, but the Mac users should get the (free) binary on the iTunes Mac Store.
The problem is that, since the new 3.9.0 folder in the Files page does not have a mac binary, the Download button shows an older version of the app for Mac user's to download (Grace-3.8.0-osx.zip) and the same thing apperas on the main Files page:
Looking for the latest version? Download Grace-3.8.0-osx.zip (3.7 MB)
which is not correct.

My question is: how do I stop this behavior? Id either like to block the download button from using the old release, or some how add a link the App's Preview page on iTunes in plave of the message.

Thanks for any help

There is no way to configure the file release system to link to an external resource. As a workaround, I recommend that you add in a readme or some such, instructing users where to get the download, and then set that readme file as the default for Mac.

I followed you suggestion to add a readme file (Get_Mac_Version_Free_On_iTunes_Readme.txt) and I set the file info for Mac. If Im logged in as myself then the Download button shows this file (Im on a Mac) , but if I visit the site without logging in then the SOURCE zip is shown in the download button, not the Mac readme file. Do you have any suggestions. Perhaps the information about the user's machine is not known unless they log in to SF?
      THanks for any help.
