Hi,

I have created a cvs repository for this project and I wonder if you can allow anonymous read-only access to it, i.e.

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@vspms.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/vspms login

Currently I can only access it r/w via ssh (CVS_RSH=ssh).

I do not need the CVS repository hooked up to the project page as an additional CODE location for browsing, etc.

thanks!

    Greetings,

I'll need to escalate this to the appropriate team to figure out what anonymous access isn't working for this particular repository. That said though, have you considered moving away from CVS to a more modern source code management system like Git or SVN?

    Any thoughts on that?

    Hi Chris,

I'm doing some conversion work and it would be useful to have the CVS repository accessible to others for testing and verification.

If you no longer offer this service, then I can live without it. I do have read-only cvs access on one of my projects, but it also shows up as a code resource on my project page, which I don't need. So I believe this is soley about turning on the pserver bit for anonymous access.

    thanks.

Okay, understood. I'm escalating this issue to our operations team to investigate further.

    Thanks,
