At work, I am unable to checkout my repository from

svn+ssh://qwertie@svn.code.sf.net/p/loyc/code/

The error is (repeated thrice at 30-second intervals...):

PuTTY Fatal Error: Network error: Connection timed out

I don't suppose we could get our HTTPS access back? That always worked.

It sounds like you may have port 22 (SSH port) blocked on your connection, or something similar.

https is already available, as displayed if you click the "HTTP" button on your code page, or you can just make the URL substitution yourself: eg. https://svn.code.sf.net/p/loyc/code/

Let me know if this helps.

  • Oh! Thanks, that works.

In my defense, I had the silly impression HTTPS wasn't available since I got that email that says my old http repository is read-only now. And when browsing source code there are three buttons "RO", "RW" and "HTTP", note that the button is labeled "HTTP", not "HTTPS", and there is no indication whether the "HTTP" option is read-only or not (I see now, it's RW if you have the password and RO if you don't).
