Hi

Just upgraded https://sourceforge.net/projects/tmux/. Generally I like it but I have a few questions:

1) We had a repository called "tmux" which has been renamed to "code".That is a pretty generic name, can I change it back or to something else?

2) I'd like to hide the "tmux-openbsd" repository from the main page, if I delete it from the "Tools" menu will that delete the repository or just remove the icon? If the former, how do I keep the repo but hide the icon?

3) While I'm making changes, I'd also like to move all the tickets (closed and open) from the "Patches" tracker to "Feature Requests" and delete "Patches". Is that possible?

Thanks!

Discussion

  • Also is there something I can put in the label to stop "OpenBSD" being displayed as "Openbsd"?

  • Don't worry about point 3 I will open a new issue.

It's not possible to rename in place, but since you're using a git repo, it should be a fairly trivial to create a new Git repo via Admin -> Tools, then push to the new location. Then once you're satisfied that everything's copied over properly, you can remove the old repo.

    2) I'd like to hide the "tmux-openbsd" repository from the main page, if I delete it from the "Tools" menu will that delete the repository or just remove the icon? If the former, how do I keep the repo but hide the icon?

Delete will remove it completely. Currently, you could set the permissions on that repo so that it's hidden from most users (via Admin -> Tools, permissions should be under where that repo is listed). That will hide the code browser from users entirely though, not just remove the icon. Also note, hiding doesn't exclude them from getting a checkout if they know the direct URL.

Also is there something I can put in the label to stop "OpenBSD" being displayed as "Openbsd"?

Not yet, but we have a ticket for this here: [allura:tickets:#3699]

    Does this answer your questions?
