Hi,

I've been playing with the permissions:
https://sourceforge.net/p/freefilesync/admin/groups/

Changing permissions is a simple left mouse button click with no confirmation dialog. So how dangerous can it be? clickedy clack.....yeah, I not only locked myself out, but also all of my users as it seems. And I have no possibility to revert this situation; SF not allowing me to remove the "admin" permission from group "admin" did not prevent this disaster. All I see is "Error 403 Read access required". Why is this? I'm the **** admin. Can you help me?

Regards, Zenju

WOW, was I just hallucinating, or did you reset the permissions for me this quick? I have access again and see the "admin" group has "read" permissions restored!

Saw the email on my smartphone, and figured this would be best taken care of right away.

What an amazing response time, thanks a ton for helping me out on a situation I no doubt brought myself into! I already had dark visions of not being able to access my project for the next couple of days... that's the stuff nightmares are made of! Still, if I may, a humble request, to support the "compulsive" developer like myself (that has to press every red button, if only to see if there is a confirmation dialog before disaster strikes): It would be nice if the "admin" permission would imply the "read", just so that one can undo any (silly) change of permission. Once again, thanks Chris, you saved my day (and night)!

We actually have a ticket to restrict removing anonymous read permissions, which should prevent that from occurring: [allura:tickets:#4069]

I'll let you know when that's in place.
