No

We have developers and admin for our project, ZDT.
We are very happy with this site, though we have some questions.
When a user wants to get involved with the project, we are able to make that user admin or developer. In the past we could quite specific permission depending on how we wanted to distribute the responsibilities.

At this moment we have a developer, who wants to close tickets after fixing them. However, he does not seem to be able to do so. We could make that developer 'Admin', but that would also grant other rights, even the right to remove rights from other members, which is not needed. Since SourceForge changed to a new version (about a year ago), the permissions are less specific.

For example, the developers have the rights read, create and update, which means that they can update, but not close tickets.

Is there a way to assign more specific permissions? Or could this be a feature request for the SourceForge project?

Thank you!
Michael

There actually is very detailed control over permissions. In your project Admin page, click on the Tools link on the left, and then click on "Permissions" under your ticket tracker(s). There you can set the all the permissions for that specific tool.

You can't add individual users to those detailed permissions, so if you want to change permissions for an individual user, just go back to the main permissions page and create a new group and put the user in that group. Then you can add that group to the specific ticket permissions.
