I would appreciate a possibility to access the SF repository viewer from a Jenkins instance.
I am using Jenkins as a build-server for my project. It regularly checks whether there are new source code commits and builds my project if there are new some. In Jenkins I can see for each build job the revision and the name of the file that was changed since the last build. Unfortunately this information is not linked to SF, so I have to go to SF manually and look up the corresponding files. There is a number of git viewers, that are supported by Jenkins like ViewGit.
It would be great if you could adapt Jenkins (or more precise the GIT-Plugin of Jenkins) to also let it link directly to the SF repository viewer.
I have also opened a ticket at the Jenkins Plugin page ( https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-18963 ). But since I think both sides would benefit very much from solving this issue I also post this possible enhancement to you.
