The following are games, game engines, and other game-related projects hosted on SourceForge. Please let us know if your project is missing.
Hi, I see two games I know are actually missing: the first one is "GPL Arcade Volleyball" (gav on sourceforge), it's quite old and was not updated in a while. It's a clone of a classic DOS game. I'm not the developer, though, just a gamer.
And further "pangzero" which is a Pang!/SuperPang! clone. I contributed to this game for some graphics. I see also this game is unmaintained as of today.
Javier A. Ortiz Bultron
jWrestling is missing there as well.
Machine - (https://sourceforge.net/projects/meegomachine/)
Cycle - https://sourceforge.net/projects/meegocycle/)
Tribute - (https://sourceforge.net/projects/meegotribute/)
Grow - (https://sourceforge.net/projects/grow/)
ok - we lack some kind of reputation in game development community, but hey, we improve from project to project.
Celestron is missing. https://sourceforge.net/projects/celestron/
Sébastien Jean Robert Doeraene
Unless only English-enabled games are supposed to be listed, or only games widely known, there is FunLabyrinthe:
Brian Chalega da Silva
I'm only a gamer of these projects, but Blobby Volley and trophy are missing too:
Scrolling Game Development Kit 2 is a game engine at http://sgdk2.sf.net/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/shooterpvp is mine; not complete, and without any form of community yet. But hey, it's a game.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/oge (The Open Game Engine) has been dormant for a few years although a couple of us are trying to resurrect it.
Justin (Tuxinator) Davis
You're missing my Open RPG Maker project (http://openrpgmaker.sf.net). Long running project that just had it's initial release about a month and a half ago, but is already growing to be quite large, and even has a full length, and very positive, review over at the RPG Maker Times.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/starblastrix/ StarBlastrix is my open source shoot'em up.I made this game in 2006 so it's rather old but still working!
Luz de Gan
https://sourceforge.net/projects/tressette/ is also missed.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/meandmyshadow/ (Me and My Shadow) is missing from the list.
Can't believe I missed that one!
Another game missing is:
Ogre3D as the rendering engine
Thank you all for your submissions. I'm adding them as I have time. Please feel free to add them yourselves if I don't get to it quickly enough.
The list is getting long enough that it may be necessary to break it into subcategories. I'll work on that as I have time, but if someone wanted to take an initial pass at that, that would be great.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/castle-engine/ - Castle Game Engine (cross-platform game engine in modern Object Pascal, along with 3D model viewer "view3dscene" and game "The Castle")
A few games that use the Cube/Cube 2 engines are missing:
Cube Engine: https://sourceforge.net/projects/cube/
Assault Cube Reloaded: https://sourceforge.net/projects/assaultcuber/
Revelade Revolution: http://sourceforge.net/projects/rrevolution/
