Version: 20110222-1 Debian Description: Opened a TTF font for Malayalam(http://mirror.veriportal.com/savannah/smc/fonts/malayalam-fonts-4.4/Meera/Meera.ttf) and exported it as SVG font using File menu. The SVG font was created all glyphs were exported. But for glyphs that are formed from a unicode sequence, the unicode attribute is missing from the glyph element of xml. >From the generated SVG: <glyph glyph-name="k1l3" horiz-adv-x="1341" d="......." /> This should be <glyph glyph-name="k1l3" unicode="ക്ല" horiz-adv-x="1341" d="......." /> The unicode sequence is available at GSUB table. Because of the missing unicode attribute, the rendering is text is wrong when the svg is used. Thanks Santhosh Thottingal |
