It would be nice if the fbrun and other applications I select could keep the focus even when new windows appear, because I usually open two or three applications with fbrun and the first application always stoles the focus from fbrun when I'm about to launch the others and so on.

No. Here are some suggestions:

- run all the programs from one command
- create a shell script to launch related programs together
- make keybindings and/or menu entries for commonly run programs
