Hi all, I'm starting a project and by looking to the generated header I find: /* The c++ scanner is a mess. The FlexLexer.h header file relies on the * following macro. This is required in order to pass the c++-multiple-scanners * test in the regression suite. We get reports that it breaks inheritance. * We will address this in a future release of flex, or omit the C++ scanner * altogether. */ This make me wonder if I should use C scanner and provide a wrapper of my own for the scanner. More over, is there any evidence of better performance of the C scanner, when compared to the C++ one?
