As Firebird goes with the second approach I suggest we do the same. I believe wxStandardPath has provisions for it, if a directory structure with bin, share etc. is created below /opt/flamerobin. > I don't know what's the standard on Mac. Does it complicate things > even more? FlameRobin can be "installed" simply by dragging the FR symbol from the installation package to a suitable location.
