Hi,

I am running Windows 2003 Server with XP Pro SP2
clients and am trying to use the Firefoxdefaults.adm
and Firefoxlock.adm policy templates to set the proxy
settings, default home page etc but whatever I set in
the Group Policy it has no impact what so ever on the
clients.

All the other settings in my Policy are working fine
I.E. Windows, IE & Office 2003 but none of the firefox
settings.

I have tried firefox 1.5 and 1.5.01 not luck with
either.

I am not installing Firefox through GP just want to
change the settings etc.

Please can you help as the concept is superb an I have
lots of workstations to roll out which already have
Firefox installed and I would like to make sure all
the settings are identical as well as lock them down
to stop users playing.

Many thanks

Danny

I had this same issue until I added the startup and login
scripts. Use Group Policy to apply these two scripts to the
necessary areas (startup and logon, respectively) and after
rebooting, the policies will be enforced.
