Hello (Sorry for my bad english) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I´m a problem. I use and string connection with ADO + ODBCJDBC (V2.0.0.109) for connect and Firebird 1.5.2 (latest stable) with Delphi 7. The string connection is: if UpperCase(vTipoBase) = 'FIREBIRD' then begin p1 := 'Provider=MSDASQL.1;Password=masterkey;Persist Security info=True;User '; p2 := 'ID=SYSDBA;Extended Properties="DRIVER=Firebird/InterBase(r) driver;'; p3 := 'UID=MCSSITE;PWD=mcssite;DBNAME=' + vAlias + '"'; ConnectionString := p1 + p2 + p3; Connected := True; end; But, with this string connection i´m not obtain block register in database. The component ADOConnection used is set as the image attached. Please see the image for understand. THE PROBLEM: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- When executin two instance off IBExpert (an example) and executing the single SQL instruction; "Select * from tb_people where tb_people.id = 1 for update with lock;" First executing on first instance of IBExpert procced ok; Second executing on Second Instance procced Lock register; It´s correct (perfect). But, two instance for Delphi Project (EXE) executing the same sql instruction over the same database and table, not obtain the same result (Lock register). For this example was used one AdoConnection linked on TAdoQuery (update, select, etc) THEN I AKS: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who is the problem? Is an ODBCJDBC Drive? ADO Component? This lacking parameters in string of connection (IsollationLevel???). Please, help me to solutions this question. i´am really crazzy with this parently problem. Again, sorry my bad english. ******************************************************************************* Kurt Schneider - [ Analista de Sistema ] Especialista em Analise e Desenvolvimento de Software ControlSoft - Assessoria e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas e-mail: ku...@co...
