Mike, WRT the code, was there a particular reason that you choose not to simply add CPU_AFFINITY entries (ISCCFG_CPU_AFFINITY & ISCDFG_CPU_AFFINITY_DEF) to the jrd\isc.h file so that the ISC_get_config routine in jrd\isc.c would load it when the server started? That approach would seem to be a more maintainable approach -- all the Config options is one place.
