Currently, there is not support in Fire for firewalls or proxy servers. See the FAQ at: http://fire.sourceforge.net/faq.shtml#app-proxy You might be able to get Yahoo to work by Changing the port number to 80 in the Dialog Box where you edit your Yahoo account.
