I don't think this is a Fire issue, but I thought I'd check with the list. I've got one buddy who uses Yahoo, and when they log off, they frequently show as online pretty much forever, until they log on again, at which point I get a console message that they just logged on, without a commensurate log-off message. Logging off Yahoo or quitting Fire and logging back on still shows her as online, but then she usually "logs off" just after I sign back in. (Perhaps Yahoo polls for online status when I ask for a list of users?) Any idea what's up with this? Is there anything she could do to prevent leaving this ghost behind? It's very weird. |

This problem is now on our bug lists at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/ index.php?func=detail&aid=735898&group_id=33772&atid=409170 We'll see what we can do to get it fixed in the next release. Hi... I have seen this ghosting on the official Yahoo Messenger software on both Mac and Windows... I dont think its just an issue with Fire but more an issue with the Yahoo messenger service as a whole. In my case the ghosting is common to a select few yahoo buddies (in both Fire and Yahoo Messenger) but it does happen with some regularity.
