Thank you. The "libming1-dev" dependence has been resolved. However, I am getting another compiling error, which is "Failed: phase compiling: qt3-3.3.8-2000 failed." I read a suggestion on the fink-users forum that was to reinstall X11, but I just did that. Any other suggestions? Googling hasn't gotten me much further than that. Sorry to keep bothering you with such newbie questions. > Date: Thu, 18 Nov 2010 10:57:56 -0500 > From: ale...@gm... > To: jo...@ho... > CC: fin...@li... > Subject: Re: [Fink-beginners] build issue with giflib on 10.6 was Re: wine dependency "libming1-dev" for package "graphviz-2.26.3-2" failure > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > On 11/18/10 9:54 AM, Joseph wrote: > > Hello! > > > > I uninstalled X11 using the following commands in Terminal: > > > > sudo rm -rf /usr/X11R6 > > sudo rm -rf /etc/X11 > > sudo rm -rf /Applications/X11.app > > > > I then re-installed X11 from the Snow Leopard Installation DVD by > > clicking "Optional Installs" > "Optional Installs.mpkg" and then > > selecting X11 from the list of optional installs.
