In your long exchange with Ben Abbott, at least in the part which was on the list, you weren't exactly forthcoming about what your configuration is and what you actually did. Therefore it is difficult to help you. For example, do you have the package gd2 installed, which contains the header files plus the gdlib-config script that are needed by the gnuplot configure script when you use the --with-gd option? And, did you do what the FAQ says in #8.3 "How do I compile something myself using Fink-installed software?" at <http://www.finkproject.org/faq/usage-general.php?#compile-myself> -- Martin |
