file-roller 0.8 does not handle correctly the case
where the user does not have the permission to read
the files that are to be added to the archive.
- start file-roller under an unprivileged user;
- create a new archive (e.g., /tmp/e.tar);
- add /etc to the archive;
A dialog appears and says:
An error occurred while adding files to the archive.
No further information on error.
But the standard output shows error messages like these:
tar: etc/rndc.key: Cannot open: Permission denied
tar: etc/identd.key: Cannot open: Permission denied
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
