What do you guys think about the removal of the flat-file database system, which has been around for the last few years? Is this a downgrade for many, because the old system was 100% plug-and-play?
Now for those who have mySQL already installed it is about 99% plug-and-play. But for those who do not have mySQL installed, this could be quite a hassle.
Or does the speed gain with the new mySQL system overcome any inconveniences that people may have?
What is the consensus on this issue?
