First off, I LOVE this program! It has saved me untold hours of renaming files! (I've probably renamed 4,000+ files in the last few hours and that includes the time it took me to learn a little about Python expressions! read: it only took a few minutes after I learned what I was doing)

Ok, on with the feature request:

It would be nice to be able to select the parent directory name to use in the renaming process. For example, I have hundreds of files organized in to folders per album (karaoke). The folder names are the disc number. I would like to be able to rename the files within the folder by adding the folder name as a prefix.

Example:

Items are in C:\Albums\SC8500

I would like to add the "SC8500-" prefix to the filenames within the folder.

Thanks again, a donation will be on it's way!

    Thanks for the encouragement :-)

This functionality is available in Métamorphose series 2, in beta but works well enough for your need. Give it a try !

    Cheers
