When I rename files with the importing EXIF option enabled, the programme names some files with right date and time (when a photo was made) and some with wrong. I do not know what it is connected with.

I have put two photos taken with the same camera on ImageShack, in one case the app renames a file correctly (http://img98.imageshack.us/my.php?image=rightexif20041122h18149nt2.jpg) but in the second unsuccessfully (http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/9369/wrongexif20041123h13335be4.th.jpg). The files are almost the same as in the moment of renaming, I have only compressed them with GIMP.

OS: Windows XP SP2
Version of the app: 1.1.0

    The second image does not contain EXIF information as far as I can tell

    $ python EXIF.py -q /home/ianare/Desktop/wrongexif20041123h13335be4.th.jpg
    /home/ianare/Desktop/wrongexif20041123h13335be4.th.jpg:
    No EXIF information found

    OK, I found the problem. I was reading the 'DateTime' EXIF field instead of the 'DateTimeOriginal' field. The 'wrongexif....' file doesn't have EXIF info, the 'rightexif....' file does have EXIF, but the date was incorrect -- this confused me a bit.

    I put the new version of the program here : http://file-folder-ren.sourceforge.net/dev_src/

    Let me know if this fixes the bug for you.

    This time Métamorphose has named the photo as it should. You are really fast! Thanks, I can continue renaming... :)
