Is there a documentation about fgfp ?
    Is kelpie-planner just a wrapper for java -jar startup.jar ? Does it use Commandline-Options or Enviroment-Variables ?

I get the following error starting kelpie-planner 1.1.3 on Fedora 3
(gnu-java is system default, sun-java is installed)

    Thanks for any hint

    • No, kelpie-planner is a little more(not much) than a wrapper for java -jar startup.jar.  It is actually a platform specific launcher for the eclipse (www.eclipse.org) rich client platform.

Unfortunatly  kelpie-planner does not run with GNU GJC  (something I am looking into) It requires a Java 5 compatible jre.  In practice this means the Sun JRE.  This can be downloaded from http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

      thanks for your reply, trevorcampbell.

I found documentation for kelpie available under cvs.

As it is supposed to be unwise to change systemdefault java-enviroment using /etc/alternatives on Fedora I found it sufficient to include the binary-path for sun-java to $PATH-Enviromentvariable in order to start kelpie.

      Thanks again
