I recently downloaded ffdshow audio decoder to
watching various video files. For this purpose,
ffdshow works very nicely. However, when I try to run
Windows Media Center, ffdshow causes it to crash.
Media Center will freeze all controls so I can't fast
forward DVDs or switch channels on live TV. I can't
disassociate ffdshow from Media Center (i.e. ffdshow
automatically starts up when I start Media Center) -
the only way to do that is to uninstall the program
I can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please feel free
to contact me to get additional information regarding
this bug including program fixes or any way to
disassociate ffdshow from Media Center but keep its
association with my video players (such as Windows
Media Player, Core Media Player, Zoom Player, etc.).
