Still on my quest to import the following XML file into fez - <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="tableout.xsl"?> <SEOCodeTable> <SEOCodeRow> <SEOCode>610000</SEOCode> <Description>DEFENCE</Description> </SEOCodeRow> <SEOCodeRow> <SEOCode>610100</SEOCode> <Description>DEFENCE</Description> </SEOCodeRow> ... </SEOCodeTable> I am able to successfully import the file using SEOCode as ID and Description as Value; however, the end result doesn't look pretty due to duplicate values in the Description element. So what I'm trying now is to import the file with VALUE as a combination of the SEOCode and Description. Accordingly, I've tried using various XPATH operators and functions in the "XPATH of Value" field, e.g. SEOCode | Description //SEOCode | //Description fn:concat(SEOCode, " ", Description) concat(SEOCode, " ", Description) but none of them work. I've also tried an alternative method of using XSLT to transform the original XML file into another XML file; which works nicely as far as that goes. Only, when I then try to copy the new XML code, there isn't actually any as the browser source code shows only the original XML code. I'm sure there is a very simple and embarrassingly basic solution that I'm missing. TIA bern Bernadette Houghton, Access & Data Librarian Deakin University Geelong Victoria 3217 Australia.
