I just did an upgrade of our production site from Fez 1.3 to Fez 2.0. The process went reasonably smooth. The only issues were... * While running Upgrade, I ran into two errors that required a manual fix to be able to continue... Array ( [0] => DB Error: unknown error [1] => ALTER TABLE fez_org_structure ADD COLUMN `org_desc` text DEFAULT NULL; [nativecode=1060 ** Duplicate column name 'org_desc'] ) RESPONSE: updated fez_config datamodel_version to 2007111300 Array ( [0] => DB Error: unknown error [1] => ALTER TABLE fez_org_structure ADD COLUMN `org_image_filename` varchar(512) default NULL; [nativecode=1060 ** Duplicate column name 'org_image_filename'] ) RESPONSE: updated fez_config to datamodel_version 2007111301 NOTE: org_image_filename exists with size 255. Our DEV install which has been running Fez 2.0 since it became available has the size set at 255. This table isn't being used currently. Will this be a problem if it is ever used? * I didn't realize I needed to index all the existing objects using Discover New Fedora Objects in Administration->Index Objects * In testing the new install, I ran into a bug for uploaded gif files... when viewing the record, the right area should show web_imagename.jpg but tries to show web_imagename.gif which doesn't exist Everything else looks good so far.
