Along with the new Fez developers mailing list, here is the new Fez
WebSVN subversion repository:=20
It is open to the public, so we will probably now turn off the SF.net
As you can see WebSVN is 1000% better than ViewCVS etc. Check out our
commit log for instance:
WebSVN also has a nice way of showing all the changed files for a
And also a nice 'compare with previous'=20
And the always popular 'blame' mode:
At this point you can click the tarball link eg for 'trunk' and get all
the latest code. We haven't done any check-ins for 14 days
so we are about to check in a fair bit of changes. The hardest thing
with checking in changes is keeping the schema.sql file up to date.
The one that is up there on subversion at the moment is a little old so
we will try and update this tomorrow along with a big check-in.
We now have to setup the subversion on that server to give you direct
SVN read and write access via the
fantastic tortoiseSVN: http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/ It will probably
happen tomorrow or early next week.
We will let you know the usernames and passwords. To secure direct SVN
transactions a bit more could you send us your IPs
or the IP subnet your team is on directly to my email address (not
through this list).
We are considering giving your team a Fez 'OARiNZ branch' and merging it
back-in to the main trunk now and then, but we are still
thinking about this.
Let me know if you have any problems accessing the WebSVN website.
