Hi Kai

An example is the MODs !name!namePart which has an attachement to !name!ID.  We only support attached author_suggestor and attached hidden fields in the latest trunk.  It associates the two values in the form by placing them beside each other in the same row.

The answer to question 1 is either very difficult or completely trivial. Maybe somebody can at least tell me which one it is…

Betreff: [Fez-users] what is an XSD display attachment?

Hello,

trying to find out more about the inner workings of the XSD matchings, I stumbled upon two questions:

1.       Could  anybody explain to me what an XSD display attachment is? I imagined this would somehow display the content of another matching field besides the field content, but this seems to be wrong.

2.       When using XSDMF ID references I can select any document type. In my opinion this should be restricted to the document types referenced in any parent XSD display (e.g.: if there is no XSD reference to a MARCXML datastream in my Fedora Object XML derivative display, I cannot use any fields from MARCXML). Is this correct?

I am really missing information on these topics. If I can collect everything together, I could put some details on the wiki.

Regards, Kai
