#34 Copper/blitter emu weird in old demos

My good old favorite Mahoney & Kaktus Sounds of Gnome
runs fine, but the copper rainbow vertical scroll text
is all solid yellow except for a few scanlines at the
bottom.

Kefrens Guardian Dragon II has some cosmetic glitches
and one major bug. At the beginning when the flat
shaded pyramid rotates into the Kefrens logo, there is
blitter garbage on the screen for a few seconds. In the
perspective planes with the skull picture part, the
screen is blank the whole time. And on disk 2, during
the 3d vector helicopter scene, the emulated machine
sprays garbage on the screen and the amiga hangs
(Fellow itself doesn't hang, it still responds
correctly to the F11 key).

I skimmed over the sourcecode for the copper emu, but
it was a little beyond my skill level.

Another old demo that misbehaves is Crusaders Bacteria
musicdisk, but that one seems like a floppy I/O
problem. The first two songs work correctly, but when
you load the third song, it's completely corrupted. The
song title is bunch of random charaters, and the
samples that play are all just random garbage.

Fellow kicks ass, keep up the good work!

Confirmed graphical issues with demo 'Mahoney & Kaktus
Sounds of Gnome' by Worfje. The rainbow vertical scroll is
indeed not shown correclty, although not as bad as submitted
originally. The scrolling text is correct, only the colors shown
    are not.

Did not confirm issues with demo 'Bacteria by Crusaders'.
Song was not corrupted. Also with fast disk DMA, no problem
    encountered.

  • I can confirm that the Mahoney & Kaktus issue (color of vertical scroll text) still exists.
