When connecting to the feed "http://www.bmj.de/enid/rss/news.rss" the
validator reports:

Your feed appears to be encoded as "ISO-8859-1", but your server is
reporting "US-ASCII"

The (Apache) server has no default charset (sic!) and is serving the
content as text/xml:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Wed, 18 Oct 2006 19:15:20 GMT
Server: Apache
Connection: close
Content-Type: text/xml

Behaviour here is specified by RFC 3023 - a content type of 'text/xml', with no charset, should be treated as US-ASCII. application/xml behaves differently and is generally a better choice.

If you have suggestions for improving the warning, or making the explanation clearer, they would be welcome.
