There is a configuration property for the default fields, for other fields you have to query on the field name.

Objet: [Fedora-users] fedoragsearch full text index

Hi,

I've installed fedoragsearch and it now seems to work correctly (thanks
Gert...). Only when I want to perform a full-text search, I do not
understand how things work : if I try a simple search with the word
"fedora", the hit list does not contain my 2 PDF documents that contain
this word. I have to enter "DS.first.text:fedora" so that I get the
proper hits. But now I'm only searching in the full-text field and not
in every field of the index. Can't I just enter "fedora" in the search
field and get all hits?

If this is still under development, apologies for my impatience :)

Patrick
