Did you try connecting via HTTPS on port 8443? Also, did you disable the DenyAPIMIfNotLocalhost rule?

My 2.2.1 is using another existing Tomcat server behind an Apache server connected by jk connector. The McKoi database is still the one used by Fedora 2.1.1.

Any more suggestion?
