The FABM Application Programming Interfaces have been updated to improve object-oriented features of the framework (specifically, to enable inheritance of model types). Biogeochemical models that use the Fortran 2003 API will need to be updated. More information at http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/fabm/index.php?title=API_0.91
The FABM Application Programming Interfaces have been updated to improve consistency, user-friendliness and performance. Some of the changes are not backward compatible, which means that biogeochemical models and physical drivers that are not in the FABM repository will need to be updated. More information at http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/fabm/index.php?title=API_0.9
The FABM web site has been upgraded to the latest SourceForge version, which caused the URL of the fabm-git repository to change. Please update the settings of your local fabm-git repositories (Linux: edit fabm-git/.git/config, Windows/TortoiseGit: right-click repository, choose TortoiseGit, Settings, Git/Remote, origin) with the new URL: git://git.code.sf.net/p/fabm/code
The Zentrum für Marine und Atmosphärische Wissenschaften in Hamburg hosted a workshop on FABM on 14 November 2011. The workshop discussed the origins, use and future development of FABM. A list of ideas for future development is maintained on the wiki.
