Just getting started with exuserfolder and it's working splendidly with
the ZODB. :) Membership is very nice as well, although I'm still
trying to get up to speed on creating custom forms via ZPT rather than
Anyway, my question is this: what's the best way to setup EUF to use
Postgres & MySQL? All the docs I've come across seem outdated and I'm
not sure what works anymore. I'm using a RedHat 8.0 system with Zope
2.6 & Python 2.2. Any help is much appreciated!
Thanx in advance,

First of all, it's XUF, not EUF :-)
are you trying to setup pg and mysql at the same time? I don't think so,
but better ask than assume :-)
The best tip I can give you is to tell you to try it. You'll see it's
not that hard to customize to what you need, I guess that's why there
aren't that many docs...
begin with the basic pg auth source, pg property source and no
membership, then view the "Contents" tab on XUF and click on the
authSource and propSource objects. You'll see they contain ZSQLMethods
you can customize to your needs, but should work out of the box if you
have tables and columns with the proper names in your DB.
PS: to developers: maybe we should put document more clearly that the
Contents tab is very useful.
