I'm seeing some error messages in my dmesg (v. 1.4d3):

1. Are these error messages anything to be worried about?

2. If not, is there any way to turn them off?

The above messages are from a MacBook (intel). On my ppc box, which has been up five days, the dmesg buffer is full of nothing but:

EXT2-fs DEBUG (/Users/brian/Projects/Sourceforge/ext2tiger/src/gnu/ext2fs/ext2_vnops.c, 758): ext2_fsync:ENTER

Both machines are mounting ext3 fs's with dir_index enabled. Both detect it, and disable read-write mounting, which is fine with me.

Or is this just the price I pay for running developement software?
