Hi everybody, a warning to those who are running the SVN trunk version: I just committed some major changes concerning the general setup of eXist's web application. In particular, access to the documentation and most of the XQuery examples is no longer going through Cocoon. Cocoon is now limited to the webapp/cocoon directory. All other directories are controlled by the XQuery script webapp/controller.xql (via the XQueryURLRewrite filter). It replaces the Cocoon pipelines we used so far. If you need Cocoon to process the root directory of the webapp, just change the url mapping in web.xml and everything should work as before. Moving the Cocoon stuff into a separate directory should help new users to better understand which examples require Cocoon and which are purely eXist-based. In the long run, we plan to completely remove Cocoon from the main distribution. Instead, the eXist-as-Cocoon-block distribution has to be updated to Cocoon's new architecture (I could need some help here). More information on XQueryURLRewrite will be provided later. Wolfgang |
