I doubt whether anyone actually tests them for regressions, let alone uses them. As well as being vulnerable to changes in eXist itself, they also sometimes get broken by updates to the XMLrpc or SOAP libraries of the languages concerned. I there any reason why you need to use xmlrpc? Is there something you need to do that the REST i/f doesn't support? I use it all the time from Perl with no problems at all. > I think I am back to exist-1.0b1. If that build works for your use-cases and data, then fine. But it has an alarmingly large number of known bugs, and if you hit any of them, there's not much anyone here will be able to do by way of help or advice. Michael Beddow |
