Hi, the ngram:starts-with() function seems to be case sensitive in exist-trunk (rev. 16862 built today). the query collection("/db/tgn")//Term_Text[ngram:starts-with(., 'Berlin')] does return results, while the query collection("/db/tgn")//Term_Text[ngram:starts-with(., 'berlin')] does not. Do you experience the same with trunk? Should I try to provide some test data? Cheers, Ubbo |

Hi Ubbo, Yes, this is the behaviour of all the ngram functions in trunk now - they have to be fed lower-case search terms. Before version 16634 search terms were automatically lowercased. I am sure this - correct - behaviour will be restored soon …. Cheers, Jens PS: When we started playing around with TGN, we also used "Berlin" as an example all the time …. Hi Ubbo, I just fixed the ngram index. It is now case insensitive again. Hi Wolfgang, thanks a lot, I'll test if it works for us now this week. Ubbo Am 31.07.2012 15:39, schrieb Wolfgang Meier: > Hi Ubbo, > > I just fixed the ngram index.
